We need to know basic personal data in order to provide you with the consultancy services you have engaged us to provide and to assert our right to be recompensed in return for these services, as per the services agreement or contract we have with you. If you do not provide this information then we will be unable to enter into a contract with you for the services you have requested. We will not collect any personal data from you that we do not need in order to provide and oversee the services we have agreed to provide you with.

What We Do With It

All the personal data we hold about you will be processed by our staff in the United Kingdom and no third parties will have access to your personal data unless there is a legal obligation for us to provide them with this, such as Anti Money Laundering Regulations, providing details to solicitors or tenant checks. Please be aware, however, that your information may be stored on a cloud-based system whose servers are located within the European Union.

We will take all reasonable steps to ensure that your personal data is processed securely.

How Long We Keep It

We will generally keep your personal data for a minimum of 15 years after a contract is fulfilled, after which time it will be destroyed if it is no longer required for the lawful purpose(s) for which it was obtained. If you consent to marketing, any information we use for this purpose will be kept until you notify us that you no longer wish to receive this information.

What We Would Also Like To Do With It

We would like to send you information about our own products and services by post, telephone and email. You can opt out of this at any time by contacting us at our offices or by updating your preferences in any emails you have received from us since the 25th May 2018.

Who Will We Share Your Information With

This includes, but is not limited to, tenant reference checks, solicitors acting for both the buyer and the vendor, anti money laundering schemes, contractors carrying out necessary jobs such as plumbing, general maintenance etc and also Energy Performance Contractors.

We will only share you details with controllers who are also registered with the ICO.
